Oh honey, I drink alone all the time! IMO, there are few simple joys greater than coming home from work to a quiet house and pouring a glass of wine before I start dinner (or whatever it is I'm doing that evening).
Having a bottle of wine stoppered on the counter, just waiting for me to pour it, is a delightful thing.
