P.S.  A monster is eating the moon!!

I feel so happy at finally seeing that.

There was blood on the moon, and I watched it through the south-facing window of my brother's empty room, a second moon repeating the first, as echoed reflection in the doubled glass.

It was beautiful.

If I already know some of the first commenters on yonder post, does that mean that I've been spending a little too much time on the Internet?

Because he was a writer, and all knew that writers were strange --- you hinting at something there? ;-)

Be assured, I do not write like this. Indeed, I didn't even write the above post as I was a werewolf at the time. But thanks for the laughter. I need something to top Eye of Argon.

Oh yeah, and you have a reason to long to see me again, and it has to do with athletic blue rhinos.

P.S. FOR TEN POINTS
If an ephebe is walking in a glebe and is attacked by a grebe, who would win?

This is an actual Reach for the Top 2007-2008 question.

Wow, the circles are small. You need to meet James Nicoll.

Hey, what happens to w.wolves during lunar eclipses, anyway? I wanted to see it, but the darkest umbra was 3AM over here.

P.S. I guessed grebe because I know it's a bird. Bird vs. other animal is a value judgment, and that would be a badly written question, so therefore ephebe must be a non-living concept, right? wiki wiki wiki ... hmm, maybe not

You've already introduced me to him, remember?

They change, but turn red instead of gray.

http://community.livejournal.com/ljdq/144600.html . Speaking of introducing each other to things on LJ, you need to meet the LJ Daily Quiz. It's awesome. Except that I am too often overqualified to play.

Nope, no penalty. (I just learned yesterday that "Watch "Jeopardy!", Alex Trebek's fun TV quiz game" is a 37-letter pangram --- hehe!) Bird versus other animal is usually a value judgement, but not when an ephebe is significantly bigger, and assumed to be smarter, than a grebe (at least, I hope so; I've met ephebes that made me doubt this).

As an encore, why would the fact "Slaves are smaller than bears" be a mnemonic?

On the bus this morning I got to use the phrase "oh, speaking of things that rhyme with -lypse, did anyone see the lunar eclipse last night?"

5 3 7 4 5 ...
S A S T B ...

Since we've been talking about eclipses, is it something astronomical?

Darn, I just asked Zhan and he got it .15 seconds.

Re: yo, this.

And you regularly discuss the coming (zombie?) apocalypse on the bus? You stocked up on your weaponry at Windsor Castle yet (remember, knives don't need reloading!)?

Zhan is a superior Canadian to you. His knowledge is greater, and deeper, and more broad, and reflects the endless sky as...lakes do not at this time of year.

Nyah nyah nyah, I am not going to dilute my stunning image through over-replication just yet; it's your turn!
